INSISTENT™

Since its introduction, the Spyderco Efficient™ has earned a loyal following among knife enthusiasts who appreciate a versatile folder that is both pocket and budget friendly. It has also inspired demand for a smaller “gentleman’s” version that carries even more discreetly. The answer to that calling is the Insistent™, which scales the Efficient down by about 14 percent to offer a legally friendly blade just shy of 2.5 inches in length. Its full-flat-ground 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade is available in both PlainEdge™ and partially serrated CombinationEdge™ configurations. It is paired with a handle featuring full, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a stainless steel backspacer, a sturdy LinerLock mechanism, and peel-ply-textured G-10 scales. To ensure convenient but discreet carry, it includes a black-coated deep-pocket wire clip that is reversible for a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry.
