The Stretch™ 2 is a direct reflection of that real-world input and represents the pinnacle of the breed. For savvy outdoorsmen who value extreme edge retention in the field, this expression of the Stretch 2 elevates its design even further with a blade crafted from K390 MICROCLEAN®. K390 is a state-of-the-art particle metallurgy tool steel developed to provide the extreme wear resistance, toughness, and high compressive strength needed in the most demanding industrial applications. In knife blades, that translates to unparalleled edge holding and cutting performance. The straight-spined, full-flat-ground blade of this knife is supported by a stout back lock mechanism housed in a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle. Molded in the signature blue color of our K390 family of knives, the handle is reinforced by skeletonized stainless steel liners and features a Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for an ultra-secure grip, even with wet hands. A four-position pocket clip completes the package, providing a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
